With the ability to add and edit information, Enviro-Base Pro enables a user to consolidate their important data and references into one package that can be easily searched and updated. User-customizable database of Soil and Chemical properties, Drinking Water Standards, Adsorption, Dispersivity, and Chemical Half-Life information for 173 chemicals and 86 materials.
Enviro-Base Pro is an all-in-one database, designed to provide a wide variety of referenced property information for users seeking data related to groundwater modeling and report writing. With the ability to add and edit information, Enviro-Base Pro enables a user to consolidate their important data and references into one package that can be easily searched and updated.
The Enviro-Base Pro database is comprised of six different categories for data entry and retrieval:
Soil Properties
Including Hydraulic Conductivity, Porosity, Specific Yield, and Specific Storage
Chemical Properties
Including Viscosity, Henry's coefficient, Vapour Pressure, Log Kow, Density, and Solubility
Half-Life
When simulating solution transport or natural attenuation, a half-life value is used to define the time it takes for the contaminants to decay to one-half of the starting concentration.
Drinking Water Standards
Enter any drinking water standards quickly for future reference.
Adsorption
Store the adsorption value that numerically describes the attraction and adhesion of a layer of ions from an aqueous solution to the solid mineral surfaces with which it is in contact (used extensively in remedial projects).
Dispersivity
A value used to describe how a solute flowing in groundwater is mixed with the incontaminated water and reduces in concentration (used extensively in 3D transport modeling).
Enviro-Base Pro consolidates all categories of information pertinent to hydrogeologists into one easy-to-use, and modify software package.

Quick look-up of chemical information, EPA standards, and other useful information, when citing facts in written documents reduces research time.
Cataloguing and updating user-generated data
The expandability of Enviro-Base Pro allows users to edit database entries and add their own values for future reference
Creating a site-specific database of information
Enviro-Base Pro users can develop their own independent database using the Enviro-Base template, to maintain site-specific information separately from the Enviro-Base default database.
Accepted standard values for hydrological modeling when field data is unavailable
Visual MODFLOW and other modeling programs require values such as Hydraulic Conductivity, Porosity, Specific Yield, and Specific Storage for geological layers to be represented correctly. The Enviro-Base Soil Property listings provide information for 49 different soil types, assisting modelers in determining values to use when field data has not been collected. Dispersivity data from Enviro-Base Pro and Lite assists modelers studying contaminant transport.
Add new chemicals, materials, values, and references
Create a new database for site-specific information
Export data sets to Microsoft Excel
