SESOIL

SEasonal compartment model for long-term pollutant fate and transport in the unsaturated SOIL zone.

SESOIL is commonly used by the EPA as a screening tool in performing exposure assessments and for analyzing and prioritizing chemical exposures at contaminated sites. SESOIL has also been applied in risk assessments for estimating the potential impacts of surface spills on underlying aquifers.

the fate of agricultural chemicals, landfill leachate, UST leaks, and accidental chemical spills as they migrate through the unsaturated zone towards the water table.
