Waterloo Hydrogeologic distributor, Beijing Water International (BWI), successfully hosted their fourteenth short course featuring Visual MODFLOW from November 12-15, 2014. This course was held in association with State Environmental Protection Engineering Center for Industrial Contaminated Sites and Groundwater Protection (E3), Peking University, China University of Geosciences (Beijing) and Waterloo Hydrogeologic. The course was attended by thirty participants from a wide variety of corporations and academic institutions throughout China.

The course featured case studies of contaminant transport projects both in Visual MODFLOW Classic and Visual MODFLOW Flex and lectures on the theory of groundwater flow modeling as well as model conceptualization, modeling methods and technologies. These courses have been in great demand since the localization of Visual MODFLOW for the Chinese market.
