Installing the Access Runtime Engine

AquaChem 12.0 uses the Microsoft (MS) Access database file format (.accdb) to store the data associated with each project.  In order for AquaChem to connect to and work with the data in your project, you will need a functioning Access database connection provider that matches the bit-level of AquaChem, which is a 32-bit application.  This may require you to install an Access database connection provider utility freely available from the Microsoft website. The following configurations will provide the necessary Access database connections required by AquaChem:
