Interactive Chart Controls

Charts in AquiferTest are interactive: you can control and interact with them using common mouse controls: left/right mouse button clicks, mouse wheel up/down scrolling and mouse wheel clicks as described below.

Pan

To pan within a chart, click and drag using the mouse wheel as a button.

Zoom In

To zoom in on a chart, place the mouse pointer on the chart at the center of the area of interest and scroll the mouse wheel down: the chart will zoom in towards the location of the mouse pointer narrowing the ranges of the X- and Y-axes.

Zoom Out

To zoom out on a chart, place the mouse pointer on the chart at the center of the area of interest and scroll the mouse wheel up: the chart will zoom out from the location of the mouse pointer widening the ranges of the X- and Y-axes.

Reset Zoom Level/Axis Bounds

To reset the zoom level/axis bounds of the chart to the default range:

•click the Autoscale all axes button in the Analysis tab chart

•leave the view and return in the Discharge and Water levels

Data Point Information:

To see the X- and Y-coordinates of a data point in a chart, simply hover the mouse pointer over the desired point to obtain a tooltip with the X and Y values. You can also left-click on the tab and if there is an associated data table in the workspace, then the record corresponding to the clicked data point will be selected.
